buying lottery tickets

when my hubby was in hospital I went into his bedroom, which I never usually do, to tidy it. I found loads and loads and loads of lottery tickets for £25 tucked down the side of his bed which I didn't know about. I am so disapppointed and finding it hard to get over. He says its his money and he can do what he likes with it, which is true, but he is also a recovering alcoholic so he seems to be a gambler now.

I think lots of people who have addiction problems swap one for another.
It's a complicated problem, but it must be awful to live with.

Would it be money that you need ? Is it Impacting on how you live as in you are going short etc.
If it is not then perhaps help him to manage / limit it.
If is the first situation, then you Probably have a bigger decision to make. Best wishes.

One of my brothers was a gambler lost a lot because of it. I don’t like gambling at all I don’t understand peoples obsession with scratch cards either.

Only you can decide what to do about your husbands problems, omega1.
It doesn't sound as if he is ready to face up to them.
