Anyone else seen 'Hope Springs' film with Meryl Streep about intensive couples therapy for a 30-yr old marriage?

I watched it not long ago I enjoyed it and it doesn’t take much for me to shed tears watching something.

Yes, I saw that many years ago. Seem to remember 'enjoying' it but, mind you I've yet not to be enthralled by Meryl. She's great.

It gave me a bit of insight into the man's point of view - he really fought the process. Wondering how else could the marriage could have survived. Sometimes it 's hard to know how to talk to your OH without them getting defensive.

Yes I agree especially as they get older it can be difficult to talk.

Saw this film last week and started a thread on the TV forum.
Loved it albeit a little embarrassed at times hearing their intimate details of their private lives
But learnt a little about a man's point of view

Sorry Mary59nana - haven't seen yr thread but will head over there and take a look. I too found the intimate scenes a bit much but glad some of these things are being discussed.

I did learn a thing or two .......
