No Gkids

I understand you will feel that way when you see others with GCs.
I hope the fertility treatment works and you will have a grandchild soon.
A friend had twin grandchildren from her daughter's fertility treatment.

I'm the same age as you but mine are still in their 20s. Both settled and want children eventually but not ready yet. This is the only disadvantage of having children late. Even then I was under 40.

I understand it must be hard for you especially
if you ve got friends who have children all producing grandkids
I m now at the age when all my friends are having great grandchildren and none of my grandkids look likely to do that for a long long time they are all career minded

I am 67. 3DD, 2 are in Aus and eldest here is about to start Fertility treatment age 38. No gkids...😫. Only started to feel this when all my friends kids are sprouting loads. I have never mentioned this to any of them. I never ask, grateful for whatever info they want to give me...I really miss being around young families🤔

You never can tell what's coming.

To everyone's amazement we became last-minute first-time grandparents at age 66. The other grandparents were even older; first-timers in their late 70's. How lucky were we ; one shot and we won twins, one of each.

Can’t see it happening. I’m 74;and future DIL is 38. I had son naturally at 37 but wasn’t maternal so very shocked as I thought it would be impossible at that age. So here we are many years later and me and son are like mind readers. He’s the best thing ever to happen to me. Unfortunately if they have a baby now I would struggle to help physically. Buying treats would be a pleasure.
