My goal is to make it more colourful with attractive outdoor plants and a new seat to enjoy looking at the flowers and hopefully soak up the sunshine

I'm just trying to add some more colour to my garden, but it won't be annuals. Trying to pick up some bargain plants from supermarkets - they may be small, but given time they will be beautiful.

I've got such a large garden, just to keep it under control is fine with me.

To minimise damage from squirrels..it is sooo demoralising!

I am hoping to fill up my borders with shrubs so I can concentrate on growing veg and planting up some tubs.

We have just moved into a new house so just to get the garden tidy and to add a little colour for this year would be brilliant

paint the walls white and re-touch up the fences and pagoda

I hope to get some more lovely plants and a comfy bench to sit and chill out on in the summer

I need to get my patio cleaned up and repointed so I can use the new furniture and BBQ I've recently bought. I'm hoping to put in some raised beds as I have a spinal condition that means I can no longer get down to sort out my normal flower beds and the area I used to grow vegetables in is completely overgrown so I want to convert that into a play area for when my granddaughters come to visit.

I am making a green roof garden.

We have done a lot of work on our garden, pulling down lots of different types of walls (the builders went bankrupt so used any materials they could get their hands on!) and building wooden raised beds and retaining walls, cutting out rotten tree stumps, pulling up a smashed concrete sandpit, putting up a sail and building a seating area, and generally planting various shrubs, flowers and plants.

My garden goal this year though is to bring the lawn up to standard, getting rid of themes, dandelions, large daisy plants and various creeper things (!) that are growing through it. We WILL have a lush lawn this year!

The plan is to get some spindles and handrails for our already there decking!! Much needed when we have a little girl due in the family in June!

I've just had an outside water tap fitted and bought a power hose. My paving slabs and decking are in need of a lot of TLC, so the hose will be used on them and then I need to decide to either oil or stain the decking. I also want to put down wood chip in the flower beds to help weeds from getting through. Really need to make my garden easier to manage due to poorer health.

Last year I had an infestation of chafer grubs that ate my lawn so I've been spending time trying to get it to grow back! My shed also needs some drastic repairs .. it's a good job I love being in the garden :

Painting the fence and replacing my very old shed are the first two tasks on my list.

I am busy removing years and years of ivy that has totally covered my garage, it is like a jungle, I am doing a bit a day as it is a mammoth task, one thing is certain once it is cleared I will check it weekly to make sure it doesn't happen again!

A lot of goals and some already achieved. A summer house, patio, log store and new fencing!

I would love to make more of my borders by planting perennials and interesting shrubs as well as developing my allotment area to produce a range of fruit and vegetables.

We are likely to be doing work in the garden this spring/summer rather than going on our travels. Fix the broken path tiles, Paint the shed and put in a couple of new borders and some pots. And all the usual hedge clipping an grass cutting.

I hope to grow some grass and do up my shed this year.

My goals are not for my garden but for my daughter's garden. She has moved into a house with a concrete jungle for the back garden and it is this summers job to take up the concrete paving slabs and replace with a smaller patio and curved beds for shrubs and plants. She needs a screen for the bottom end too for privacy and there is plenty of pruning and digging out of old hedges and trees. It will be lovely for her to have somewhere green and peaceful to sit in.

We have an area at the bottom of the garden, a sort of dell, which has got out of hand as we have been fairly full on helping look after the DGCs. Now that they are older we have more time. We need to clear all the ivy and brambles and then we can have fun finding the right plants for it.

I would like to have a veg plot that produces lots of lovely veg!

We're moving house in a few weeks' time. I can't wait to get to know our new garden! It's all pretty much a blank canvas at the moment, and we have plans to grow vegetables as well as plant up the borders and make an are for sitting and relaxing. Lots to do over the next couple of years.

I just repotted 72 giant trailing fuchsias which will hopefully be ready to go into my hanging baskets & wall mangers by the middle to end of May. I grew the same variety last year & they were amazing & got lots of comments from my friends & neighbours. I've grown a few extra this year to give as gifts to them as they admired them so much. I designed some shepherd's crook type posts which I had made up specially to put around my borders to hang my hanging baskets on to add more height to the borders. They always look lovely & my cleaner loved them so much that she asked me to get some made for her too
