I really want to try and grow my own herbs in garden this summer and then challenge myself to use them in new recipes

To keep it clear and record the colours and dates. Most importantly though to try and get the Bamboo under control as it's spreading quickly and very unwanted.

I'm trying to get the slug population down, as I have more slugs than anyone I know. Nothing has worked, so I have recently tried Nemotodes. It's early days but there do seem to be fewer of them.

My garden goals for this summer are to;

Repaint my little lean-to and garden dresser (made by DH) in bright snazzy colours. Bring my lawn up to bowling green standard (after getting rid of the moss, I'm finding it hard to get new seed to germinate). Put some fairy light in my tree. Encourage the climbers to spread along my back fence to give us more privacy.

I love the Olive Trees available in Homebase and I have the perfect place in mind. Sadly at £80 they are a bit out of my budget, but with a £300 voucher....

I would also like to have some time to enjoy it all.

We have only have a small area that is currently covered in paving slabs and full to the brim with weeds. I want to rip up the paving slabs and de-weed everywhere then relay the slabs in a different place and put some artificial grass down to make it a bit more 'gardeney'. We don't have lots of room but would love to also put a small table and chairs in so we can sit out in the warmer evenings.

I've just moved to my first family home with a garden. I really want to teach my young daughter how to plant and grow flowers. We were thinking of getting some hanging baskets and planting some daffodils, tulips and chrysanthemum s in the garden to get her interested in it

We recently moved into our first home and the garden is just a jungle. I don't think the previous owners touched it during the 18 months they lived there - they didn't even mow the grass! So we've got a mountain of work to do and things to buy - we're probably going to need to hire a tree surgeon. Goodness knows how we're going to get rid of all the weeds, including blackberry bushes

I have some VIP visitors coming from USA and they are both keen gardeners! I am in a state of panic as my garden needs so much TLC right now - I plan to trim everything back and concentrate on the pond and patio area. I need to clean out some beds that are suffering from overcrowding and my lovely husband in building an arch for me to train and tie plants on...so much to do!

At the moment our garden hilly, barren and Cat Poo Heaven!! We want to level it off and put down more patio so that we can spend more time outside.

I'm turning the front garden into a wildlife garden - lots of flowers for bees; homes for toads; a small pond.
The back garden is where I plan to grow more fruit and vegetables and I hope to add a small pond there soon. I've got some fuchsias waiting to be planted too (edible, believe it or not!). But gardens are never really 'finished' so I accept that and simply enjoy the process!

Our garden is more like a field, so it's hard to do anything with. We should plant more flowers though.

My garden has been dominated by man sheds, ladders and a cement mixer for the past 3 years and I'm very keen to claim a bit of it back to enjoy as a family space with room for seating, a barbecue and a chimonea. I would like some fragrant and easy to maintain shrubs to camouflage the sheds and some handing baskets. Here's hoping !

We're moving soon to a place with a much smaller garden so we're just evaluating what to do with it - there's definitely room for a nice summerhouse though!

I want to level out my garden, i'll probably have to have different levels as it's so steep. I really want a lovely patio area that fits a table the whole family can eat out on.

Hubby works very hard in our garden to provide most of the fruit and veg we need. I harvest and cook it! Our goal this year is to encourage more wildlife into our garden by increasing the amount of wild flowers and providing bug hotels. We have already put up some nest boxes and one has been in use already and have a pond that attracts many birds to drink and bathe as well. Nothing better when all our chores are done than sit in our conservatory drinking tea and watching the antics of our visitors

We've never really been gardeners, but bought a house two years ago with what had at one time been a very loved garden, but it had become very overgrown. It isn't very big, but it's very busy, with lots of trees, bushes, flowers & plants and despite what we've done so far, there is still lots to do. I'll be happy if we manage to learn what to do to look after the plants we have and tame them all a little bit!

I plan on creating a new flowerbed. We have just a generic lawn as the house is fairly new and I can't live without somelovely flowers. I also want to make it wildlife friendly so we already have plenty out for the birds and they are finally starting to visit.

I plan to put some play items like a swing, slide and sand pit for the grandson to play with

WE gave our front garden an overhaul last year, my husband made raised beds for me to save my back .... I need to now fill them with perennials, have been buying a few at a time, this would certainly help finish it off!!

My garden goal this summer is to actually have a garden!

It has mostly been an overgrown mess, but we're currently in the process of having it renovated, which has taken a long time. It was full of stinging nettles and brambles and was just so unsafe for the kids.

Currently we just have soil and the turf will be getting laid next week.

We built new flowerbeds at the tail end of last summer at the top of our deck. They are huge so we didn't get round to filling them. That's the job this summer - fill and arrange.

We've got quite a lot to get done, we had a new conservatory fitted last year and we need to sort out the patio area this year which will be a big job but it will be fabulous for bbqs when it's finished

I'm having a go at growing veg this year. We already grow some fruit - apples, blackcurrants, redcurrants, raspberries, gooseberries, cherries and blackberries. But I haven't really got into veg. I have made a start with rocket, brussel sprouts, brocolli, beetroot, carrots and broad beans. They are all very small atm except the beans.
I also want to plant some more ground cover and replace a couple of old flowering shrubs that I dug out as they were old and overgrown.
