Everyone has different styles when it comes to decorating the house for Christmas; some of us have our go-to decorations while others like to mix it up with different themes or something new each year. Homebase would like to know what you'd pick from their range to refresh your collection of decorations and have on display in your home (budget no issue smile).

Here’s what Homebase has to say: “At Homebase we have everything you need to make your Christmas sparkle, from trees and baubles, to giant inflatables and twinkly lights. Click here to check out our Christmas range and please share your favourite decorations below.”

How about this snowy tree? Or a Poinsettia Wreath for your door? Or even some cute Santa fairy lights?

To get you in the mood, here's some tips on decorating your tree:

Have a look at the site and share what would make it into your basket this year! Everyone who posts on the thread will be entered into a prize draw to win a £300 voucher of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck!

I love the selection of wreaths for the door, they're all very decorative and welcoming, and great prices too!

The Decorated Winter Garden Real Christmas Wreath is lovely, and would add a touch of magic to my doorstep.
We need a selection of new decorations this year, and I will be visiting Homebase soon.

A friend posted a photo on FB of their Christmas decorations and it inspired me to make some slight changes this year; I'd love to have some large hanging silver snowflakes to hang on the windows and doors; they are so simple but they'll look fabulous I'm sure and at only £3 each a bargain.

Every year I buy one, distinctive, new decoration for the tree. My tree is made up of completely unique decorations. I really love the Open Front Forest Scene Glass Bauble.

Decorated real winter Christmas wreath

Rowantree Sat 02-Dec-17 00:18:12

The Snow-tipped wreath for me...or maybe the Forest Fruits one....or perhaps one of the real ones as I love the smell and feel of real foliage. Then garlands - may I have several Decorated Real ones? I'd wrap them round the bannisters and drape them over door frames downstairs. I'd love to wrap them with some of the Warm White LED lights or perhaps the Copper Wire lights, to create a magical look in the house for our two little grandchildren. I'd also use them outside in the drive, round shrubs, leading to the front door. I draw the line at nodding snowmen or plastic Santas though....for me it's the real thing every time ;-)

I would love the Snowy Spruce Christmas Tree. We moved house this year (downsized), and our old tree is too big.
