Everyone has different styles when it comes to decorating the house for Christmas; some of us have our go-to decorations while others like to mix it up with different themes or something new each year. Homebase would like to know what you'd pick from their range to refresh your collection of decorations and have on display in your home (budget no issue smile).

Here’s what Homebase has to say: “At Homebase we have everything you need to make your Christmas sparkle, from trees and baubles, to giant inflatables and twinkly lights. Click here to check out our Christmas range and please share your favourite decorations below.”

How about this snowy tree? Or a Poinsettia Wreath for your door? Or even some cute Santa fairy lights?

To get you in the mood, here's some tips on decorating your tree:

Have a look at the site and share what would make it into your basket this year! Everyone who posts on the thread will be entered into a prize draw to win a £300 voucher of their choice (from a list).

Thanks and good luck!

I love the traditional Santa tree topper . It would be perfect for replacing my poor star that is well past its sell by date .

The 32 inch silver glitter tipped pre lit wreath. Would look lovely on my French door in the kitchen.

Betterlife1 Thu 30-Nov-17 13:24:44

Anything for outside, I'm lacking in that area.

I would also like the rattan pre-lit wreath - it has rustic look that doesn't include snow - don't want to tempt fate!!

I would love that gorgeous poinsettia wreath for the front door. I still use the wreath made by my DDs when they were children (over 45 years ago!) so, as you can imagine, it's a bit misshapen and tatty now.tchblush

I'm in the market for a new tree and would need a tall one so the 8ft Green Arc Artificial Christmas Tree would be my choice

mini stars string Christmas lights - being battery operated they could be used not only on the tree but round the windows, bookcase, mirrors. Think I need to buy several boxes!!

This year I'm leaning towards a more eco friendly affair, so muted and neutral colours, and a less is more - as little plastic and glitter as possible.

So this lovely real tree than can be planted outside afterwards - Living Norway Spruce Real Christmas Tree - 4-5ft www.homebase.co.uk/living-norway-spruce-real-christmas-tree-4-5ft_p337791

A couple of these beautiful neutral - White Poinsettia Christmas Houseplant www.homebase.co.uk/white-poinsettia-christmas-houseplant-15cm_p378826

The seasonally scented candles sound amazing - my pick would be the mulled wine fragrance - www.homebase.co.uk/candle-mulled-wine-20oz-567g-_p482520

The 6ft pear drop tree.

Mopsx4 Wed 29-Nov-17 07:41:22

I would get the 8 ft artificial arc Christmas tree as our one is tiny and very out dated.

peanutmum Tue 28-Nov-17 23:31:25

I would love (really need) some new tree lights. I fancy the 2000 warm white string LED Christmas lights.
I use the ornaments for colour, so white is best.
