I had many happy holidays in Ireland with my late husband.I have had a few short breaks in the Dublin area by myself,but I don't drive,I used to love it when we drove round the beautiful countryside.I want to visit Ireland again,and I'll make sure I do.But I'm limited by being a single pensioner with not a lot of spare cash.Another problem is that a coach trip may be a cheaper option,but I've never been on one by myself.I don't mind travelling by myself,but not sure about a coach trip.I'll get there somehow,it's my favourite place,don't need to go anywhere further away.

My most wished for on my to do list is the Northern Lights I have always been fascinated by this phenomenon but never had the finances to realise this ambition unless my guardian angel wins me the lottery but maybe I will realise my ambition one day and achieve my goal not forgetting to ensure I am adequately insured.

New Zealand is on my bucket list. DH has health problems and has no interest in travelling, so unless I could get someone to come and live in and care for him I doubt I will achieve my dream.

I’d love to see Cuba, what’s holding me back? I have two dogs and the cost of pet sitters is prohibitive because they are to nervy to be sent to kennels. My children used to watch them but after next week it will no longer an option. A poster mentioned insurance further up, I’d never travel without it. A friend did and had a heart attack whilst on some island in the Pacific and the bills nearly cleaned the couple out.

Japan.....I would love to visit to explore their culture, textiles, crafts. I am fascinated by everything Japanese.

I would love to go anywhere as long as there was a wood cabin and a forest... the more remote the better! Money has stopped us from going anywhere due to my cancer diagnosis but it would be wonderful to just ‘get off the world’ and take time for the Hubby and myself.
Travel insurance, I feel, would make me feel comforted and secure in our travels

Our regular place we both love is Malta where we go once a year to the same hotel, location. But i would love to go to the island of St. Lucia which is supposed to be one of the nicest places. We had issue last year as my husband was told he needed a pacemaker so couldn't get any insurance and our regular yearly one we have wouldn't cover him, so had to cancel our holiday in March, 2019. He got 2nd Holter monitior 24 hr test/readings done and was all clear on this one, so we then re-booked for October. But myself have a small gallstone which is not very irriatable now as changed to a low fat diet, with no spicy foods, but on the insurance had to buy from another company for just the 7 day holiday as an added extra as our regular yearly one wanted over £100 on top.

Would love to visit India but worry about taking ill as not confident of healthcare. It would need to be a super insurance policy so I know I would be covered.

I would go to Arizona to the dude ranch my husband and I went to for our 25th and 30th wedding anniversary.
I look after grandchildren three days a week so childcare for my son and his wife would be difficult
We also have a stressed and anxious at who hates it when we go away and it usually culminates in a trip to the vet to treat cystitis

I would love to go to The Calgary Stampeed it is definatly on my bucket list.

I would love to visit Japan. What stops me is that I have to spend my leave visiting family and working for a charity my funds are limited.

Nothing stops me travelling really, it’s just fitting it all in. 2020 is already booked up with 2 trips to US and 2 trips in the UK. Top of the list for future trips are Bhutan, Botswana and South America. I always have a good annual policy which allows long trips away from home and worldwide cover.

I would love to re-visit Penang and Singapore where I lived for several years when a child. I have never been back, as I tend to like to visit new places, but nostalgia is beginning to set in and I'd love to see how these places have changed. So what's stopping me? The lure of different countries to a certain extent still; money (there's a limit to how much I spend on travelling each year); an aged parent who still needs my care. Yes, I always get insurance to cover every trip - take it out at the time of booking or book with a company that includes insurance. My husband has pre-existing medical conditions, so insurance for him costs more, but definitely worth it..

If I could go anywhere I would go back to South Africa and explore more of the country. We had a fantastic safari in Kruger National Park a couple of years ago. The only thing stopping us is the cost. Have not had a problem with insurance to date but always make sure we are fully covered for peace of mind.

I would love to visit the Isle of Skye - it looks so serene & beautiful. There are so many areas of natural beauty in the UK - in an ideal world I'd love to tour all those areas over the course of a year - life on the road - bliss!

Tough choice, went to Thailand last year and definitely want to go back there, but I would also like to take in Australia and Cuba, but I have just remembered my ultimate trip would be a to travel all around Italy, the lakes, the Amalfi Coast, Rome, Florence, Capri, Puglia, such a beautiful country, and the fab food doesn't hurt!

I would love to explore the whole of Europe through different seasons: white summer nights in Finland, carnival in Venice, Easter in Spain and Greece, Christmas markets in Germany and Belgium, to name a few. A mature gap year would be wonderful! Of course, a comprehensive travel insurance is very important when setting off on one's travels.

America! I've always wanted to visit the Hollywood sign!

Disney World ( The Animal Kingdom) with my Grandchildren. We went a few years ago and to wake up and see zebras, antelopes. and Giraffes out of the window was wonderful.

I would love to go to Sri Lanka and the Maldives. The thing that’s stopping me is money ?

I would go to Florida there's so much to do and so much sunshine! What stops me is I would love to go with all the family but affording that is just not realistic, would be lovely to visit the theme parks for the children, beaches for the grown up and just tak in some sights.

Travel insurance is so important I have had an instance where I had to use it however it does scare me that I may not be fully covered

Japan would be my dream. But my mobility, finances and the horrendous cost of travel insurance because of my age and medical conditions rule this out.

I'd love to visit the beautiful city of Shiraz in Iran but sadly the political situation precludes going at the moment

I'd love to visit Japan, my favourite band are from Japan so it would be great to see them live there. I'd love to see so much in the country
