Same thing different thoughts

Walking with my husband last winter we rounded a bend and the sight was beautiful. Berries covered in frost glistening like Christmas lights in the countryside. I thought how gorgeous they looked and said this to my husband when he said ,,, I thought they looked poisonous. How differently we all think. If we all thought alike the world would be a boring place.

This is such a lovely thing.
Sharing the same thing - differently!

I think you will always remember this. 😍

It's surprising how many people don't notice the birds singing. They are so intent on their own concerns that they miss so much that's going on around them.

I think this was about having different thoughts about what we see. About what our eyes and thoughts move towards.
It's part of who we are.

My husband and I are very different and notice different things. Occasionally something sticks in your mind. I think these 'quirks' make us interesting and unique.

I don't expect that Truffle's husband's was intent on his own concerns.

It’s sad how many of us don’t notice the things around us, for good or ill.
My favourite word is “Look!” and my favourite occupation drawing and walking in the countryside.
Drawing makes one really look at every detail and the Victorian habit of taking a sketchbook on one’s travels was praiseworthy.
Now we just point our ‘phone at a view, but do we really look?

I have a botanist walking companion and he points out all the plants I would never notice myself.
