I was thrilled to be contacted yesterday to ask me to talk about my books at a forthcoming book festival. Naturally I agreed but asked for more details. I was most surprised to find that my slot is in the 'historical fiction' session. The books are set in the 1970s and 80s! That ain't history to me! (yet)
