Empty Nester, Going Full Circle

Since I faced middle age in 2011, I celebrated the big 50.
Life is not all about me but more about me playing my part,
In an ever such more important journey; in my family.

`Cos family’s what holds us together and family is what stands us apart.
To live faithful to one another, progresses us through our main events
And keeps us listening from the beginning, to the Father’s heart.

With our Lord’s heart we have brothers and sisters from every continent.
No longer does our past hold on to us, we have been set free.
Our futures follow a destiny, on which we are belief dependent.

Believing God created me, then old age is a privilege so says the consultant.
Thus, I’ll pass on this love with the gift of faith, to the next generation.
Taking my turn, just as it was given to me- Freely, heaven sent.

Heaven is trusting in bible promises, trying to do his will for some time still.
And with grace I’ll continue to rest with a redeemer's trust.
Of answered prayer for that matched up to the Saviour’s will.

Eternity is the never ending gift, lasting long after this life.
Made possible by Jesus paying the price, once and for all.
Thanks are owed for His first love. Hello nanny, goodbye strife.
