One of a few 'poems'

I had a little go at writing rhymes or poems, about 10 all together. They just sit in a pad doing nothing so I thought I would put a few up. One at a time of course. This my first one is very simple where I talk to myself but it got me started.

I've decided I will write some verse
Simply for my pleasure
A record of my simple life
And the memories I treasure

I'll write of pretty normal things
That happen in my life
Of me in role of mother
A nanny and a wife

I'll tell about my animals
My lovely cat and dog
I'll tell about my hobbies
And other things I'll log

Perhaps others in the years to come
My rhymes will get to see
And I have just a little hope
That they'll discover me.
