Gransnet to run forums for Age UK

age uk logoWe're pleased to announced that we are now running forums for Age UK. This means that our forums can be accessed from Age UK's site. For visitors arriving from there, the forums are co-branded, with Age UK's logo as well as ours.

You can see what that looks like here.

For anyone coming onto Gransnet directly, nothing has changed.

We've actually been trying this out  for a few weeks now and it seems to be working! It means that visitors to Age UK's site now have a way of discussing issues that interest them and sharing information and advice and generally enjoying the great many pleasures of Gransnet.

Age UK is the largest UK charity for older people, and was formed from the merger of Age Concern and Help The Aged in 2009. The charity aims to improve later life by providing information and advice, campaigning for and on behalf of older people and offering products, training and research.

Where our interests coinicide, we will be working with Age UK on campaigns - and we will have access to their experts if we want it.

Duncan Lewis, Group Marketing and Development Director for Age UK, says: "We are very pleased to be working with Gransnet, who have a track record in running successful, lively forums, and will share with us the common aim of giving older people a virtual platform so that they can share real life experiences and useful information."
