Ingredients

1 large or two small, ripe pears (choose tasty ones)
1 large ripe mango
2 firm, ripe bananas
1 cup oats
1 cup coconut (fresh shredded or dessicated)
1 cup soft dark sugar
55g (2oz) butter

Handy Hint

If the fruit is tart you might like to sprinkle it with an extra spoon of sugar.

Method

1. Peel and slice the fruit. Lay in an oven safe dish.
2. Melt the butter. Add to the oats, coconut and sugar. Mix.
3. Spoon the buttery, oaty mixture over the fruit and pat down.
4. Bake for 25 minutes.
