Ingredients½ small onion (chopped)55g (2oz) marg 170g (6oz) grated cheese 140g (5oz) oats 1 egg ¼ tsp dried mustard * Pinch dried rosemary (crushed) * * substitute your favourite flavours |
Handy HintThis is a tasty change from sweet flapjack and so simple to make. It’s lovely on its own but even more delicious when served as an accompaniment to homemade soup. You can substitute your favourite flavours and seasonings. Try using a vegetable stock cube and mixed herbs to flavour. Cook it in a square tin and cut into bite sized squares for a party buffet or children’s little fingers. Keeps well for several days in a tin (if you can resist eating it) |
