This old recipe was taken from a magazine at least 35 years ago, and has been a real life-saver on various occasions. Can be poshed up with fancy sauces and trimmings. Can be made into meat balls and baked in the oven. Can be served cold at picnics. Ingredients virtually always in the house. No-one has ever said 'Oh no, not again.'
