Handy HintAny bread will do though granary is thirstier so needs more milk. |

Method1. Break up any stale bread into small chunks2. Add a beaten egg and milk (you need enough to make the mix soft but not too wet. Leave for an hour in the fridge if you can. If if it too dry add more milk. 3. Add grated or small chunks of any cheese plus seasoning, herbs, tomatoes etc. 4. In a heavy omlette pan heat some oil, add the mix and press down. Cook on a very low heat (I turn the elec. hob off). 5. After about 10 mins. slide onto a plate & turn it over. Cook the other side. This is a favourite on the day before pay-day! |
