Ingredients

110g (4oz) margarine
110g (4oz) caster sugar
110g (4oz) self-raising flour
2 eggs
1 tbsp coffee essence

For the topping:

85g (3oz) margarine
170g (6oz) icing sugar
1 teaspoon of coffee essence ( you can add more depending on your preferred taste)

Method

1. Cream the margarine and sugar till light in colour
2. Beat the eggs with the coffee essence
3. Mix in beaten eggs and flour alternately to the margarine/sugar mixture
4. Put into a greased baking tin and bake for 30 minutes at 180C

Topping

5. Cream sugar and margarine and then add the coffee essence.
