Ingredients225g (8 oz) plain wholemeal flour1 teasp baking powder 2 eggs 2 tablesps cocoa powder 2 tables olive oil 2 medium beetroots, cooked and grated |
Handy HintWatch out for red fingers when grating the beetroot. It does wash out after a few washes. |

Method1. Beat everything together to a stiff dough.2. Roll into a long sausage, wrap in cling film and put in fridge for 20 mins. 3. Set oven to 180 degrees celcius. 4. Cut the dough into wheels about 1/2 inch thick and place on baking tray. Bake for approx 20 mins, and remove from oven when they are still a little soft if you want them chewy, or leave a few minutes more with the oven off to make them crisper. Delicious and great for kids who avoid vegetables. | |||||||||||||||||||
