Ingredients

1 onion
550g lean stewing steak (in large pieces)
1 can condensed mushroom soup
Good slug of Worcestershire sauce
1tsp horseradish (or more if you like it)
200 g button mushrooms

Handy Hint

Take a look half way through to make sure it doesn't dry out - it will cook as long as you want if the oven is low.

Method

1. In a casserole heat a little oil and fry onions till soft.
2. Add meat, soup, Worcestershire sauce and the horseradish, mix it up and cook in slow oven (160C/Gas Mark 2) for two and a half hours (more if you want it will be fine!)
3. Add the mushrooms for the last half hour. It is delicious.

This is easy to prepare and the horse radish and Lea and Perrins give it a little bite.
