Ingredients3 egg whites1 tsp vinegar 1 tsp cornflour 100g (4oz) caster sugar double cream 200g raspberries/strawberries/blueberries depending what you like or a mixture! |
Handy HintIf egg whites are stiff enough you should be able to hold the bowl upside down. |

Method1. Whisk egg whites until stiff, add vinegar, cornflour and half the caster sugar and whisk again, then fold in the remaining sugar.2. Place in a circle on greaseproof paper on baking tray. Bake in oven at 170°C/gas mark 3 for an hour until firm and crisp. 3. Once cooled whip double cream, spread on top and decorate with fruit. | |||||||||||||||||||
