Ingredients

1 tbsp olive oil
2 garlic cloves (crushed)
340g (12oz) bacon (cut into strips or pieces (I use a bit more))
450g (16oz) tagliatelle
140g (5oz) double cream
28g (1oz) Parmesan
1 jar of green pesto

Handy Hint

Bacon can be cooked crisp or not, depending on your preference Leftovers are a great side dish with chicken

Method

1. Heat oil in a large saucepan add garlic and bacon until bacon is the way you like it.
2. Meanwhile, cook the pasta.
3. Drain pasta, add to the bacon mixture and stir in the cream, pesto and cheese.
4. Mix well and continue cooking for 1-3 minutes
5. Serve immediately or reheat to serve later

BIG family favourite served with garlic bread and a green salad. My 2 year old granddaughter and 4 year old grandson LOVE this.
