Ingredients30g butter2 medium Granny Smith apples (peeled, cored and cut into thin wedges) 2 onions (sliced) 2 tbsp red wine vinegar 2 tbsp brown sugar 4 pork chops chopped fresh thyme (optional),roast or new potatoes ans veg,to serve |

Method1. Heat the butter in a frying pan, add the apple and onion and fry over a low heat for for 5-10 minutes until softened. Stir in the vinegar and sugar and simmer for 5 minutes or until the mixture is thick and syrupy.2. Meanwhile heat a frying pan and fry the chops for about 4 minutes on each side until browned and just cooked though. Serve with the apple and onion mixture, roast or new potatoes and veg of your choice. Sprinkle with some chopped fresh thyme leaves if using. |
