Ingredients400g chick peas (drained)1 medium onion (finely chopped) 1 large egg 4 tbsp tahini (sesame paste) 75g fresh white breadcrumbs 1/2 tsp dried chilli flakes 1/2 red pepper (deseeded and chopped) Salt and freshly ground pepper Rolls, mixed salad and ketchup or sweet chilli sauce to serve. |

Method1. Place all the ingredients, except for the oil, in a food processor and pulse until well combined but not smooth.2. Shape the mixture into 4 burgers, pressing firmly with your hands so they hold their shape. 3. Heat the oil in a large frying pan and cook the burgers for 2-3 mins each side until golden. Serve in rolls with a mixed salad and either ketchup or sweet chilli sauce. |
