Chocolate brownies recipe from borderjoe
Ingredients115g (4oz) butter
115g (4oz) dark chocolate
225g (8oz) caster sugar
2 beaten eggs
115g (4oz) plain flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
115g (4oz) chopped walnuts
Pinch of salt
Method1. Preheat oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4 and grease shallow oblong tray (18cm x 28cm)
2. Break the chocolate up into a bowl, add butter and melt over a pan of simmering water.
3. When it has melted take off heat and mix in all other ingredients.
4. Spread mixture into tin and bake for about 30mins.
5. Let the mixture cool in tin for 10mins. It will sink a little bit. Then cut into squares and cool on wire rack.
6. Store in a biscuit tin.
