Packet of crumpets
Tomato puree
Grated cheese

This is an excellent nutritious meal for a toddler

Method

1. Toast the back of the crumpets under the grill
2. Take off the grill and spread tomato puree on thinly so it goes in some of the holes
3. Sprinkle some grated cheese on top and put back under the grill until bubbling

I made this recipe for my grand daughter who is only seven months old. My daughter is doing baby led weaning with her (no purees, just normal low salt low sugar food from about 6 months) and she loved it. It is also great for older children as an easy snack.
