Ingredients2 tbsp vegetable oil125ml maple syrup or golden syrup 2 tbsp honey 1 tsp vanilla extract 300g oats 50g sunflower seeds 4 tbsp sesame seeds 50g pumpkin seeds 100g flaked almonds Handful of your favourite nuts 100g dried berries 50g coconut flakes or desiccated coconut 1 tbsp each of cinnamon and nutmeg Handful of crushed Oreo Cookies Handful of mini marshmallows |

Method1. Heat oven to 150C/fan 130C/Gas 2. Mix the oil, maple syrup / golden syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, honey and vanilla in a large bowl. Tip in all the remaining ingredients, except the dried fruit / coconut and Oreos/marshmallows and mix well.2. Tip the granola onto two baking sheets lined with baking paper and spread evenly. Bake for 20 mins, then mix in the coconut, and bake for 20 mins more. 3. Remove and scrape onto a flat tray to cool. Add mixed fruit, oreos and marshmallows once the granola has cooled. Serve with cold milk or yogurt. The granola can be stored in an airtight container for up to a month. |
