Ingredients2 cups plain flour1/2-3/4 cup sugar (or less to taste) 1 tsp baking powder 2 tbsp vanilla sugar 2 eggs (separated) 1 3/4 cups whole milk 6 tbsp melted butter Few drops of vanilla essence OR 1 tsp ground cardamom |

Method1. Whisk the egg whites until stiff.2. Sieve the flour, baking powder and sugar into a large mixing bowl, add egg yolks, melted butter and beat in the milk to make a smooth batter, add vanilla/cardamom. Fold in the whisked egg white. 3.
