Ingredients

100g self raising flour
150g caster sugar
2 tbsp cocoa powder
A pinch of salt
120 ml milk
25g butter (melted)

Topping:
100g soft brown sugar
25g cocoa
400 ml hot water

Method

1. Mix flour, caster sugar, salt and cocoa together.
2. Stir in milk and butter. Pour the mixture into a1L oven proof dish.
3. Sprinkle the top with brown sugar and cocoa. Pour hot water over the top of the mixture.
4. Bake in the oven Gas Mark 4/180C/350F for 50-60 minutes. When cooked the top will be firm and the chocolate sauce move to the bottom of the dish. Delicious with ice cream.

Sweet and full of chocolate flavour. Good comfort food for the winter season.
