Ingredients

4 chicken thighs (bone-in, skinless)

1 cup plain yogurt

2 tbsp tandoori masala

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp garlic paste

1 tbsp ginger paste

1 tsp chili powder

1 tsp turmeric powder

Salt to taste

Handy Hint

For extra smokiness, place a small piece of charcoal in the oven or tandoor and let it smoke the chicken for a minute before serving.

Method

In a bowl, mix yogurt, tandoori masala, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, chili powder, turmeric, and salt.

Coat the chicken thighs in the marinade, ensuring they’re fully covered.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

Preheat the tandoor or oven to 200°C (400°F).

Skewer the marinated chicken and cook for 20-25 minutes, until the chicken is fully cooked and slightly charred.
