What does everyone do with their old greeting cards off special Family members? We have piles of them hoarding space in various cupboards.

I used to keep them, but since divorcing and downsizing 18 years ago I put them all in the bin. Sadly I just don't have the storage space. My spare bedroom is a dumping ground and an absolute tip!

Scrapbooks or photos of the cards to keep the memories without the bulk Just keep the really precious ones?

Recycle them after a few years except for the hand made ones from the grandchildren which I have so far kept.

I have a large box (almost trunk-sized) in a spare wardrobe and I save some of them - in boxes inside the box.

Not long ago I had a good sort out and threw out loads but kept some special ones.

Don't forget - if you're recycling cards then anything with glitter, tinsel, sticky bits added on, ribbons etc can't go in the card waste (it wrecks the whole load apparently).

Somewhere in the loft I still have the cards from my wedding 42 yrs ago and the births of the children. I've long since binned anything else. I don't know why I've still got those really when they haven't been out the loft in over 10 yrs.

I got mine out a couple of years ago and bought some of those scrapbooking albums.

Still haven't done them.

I had a big clear-out of mine in January, kept a very few hand-made ones. Amongst the remainder were a number of really pretty pictures which I cut off and they are gradually being whittled away as I use the reverse for shopping and to-do lists.

Amazing the things we do during those dark post-Christmas days when there's no gardening and walking is an endurance test!

I also use some cards for shopping lists too, think I will have a sort out and just keep a few. Thanks for the replies.
