Hi all. I need a new LIGHT hand held vacuum cleaner. The one l have is only 130w. It's a good make but useless! Ideally with some attachments too. Thankyou x

My husband bought a Shark Detect pro cordless vacuum cleaner. It wouldn't have been my first choice, but I do like it. It tackles the cat hair on my hearth rug with ease, and empties itself when parked on the recharging unit.

I cannot give you advice on which to buy, however I would not buy a GTech handheld, I have a few GTech products which are excellent but the handheld is very heavy, the suction is great but is awkward to use because of the weight.

I love my Gtech and with RA affecting my hands and wrists I don't find it heavy at all. One advantage over my previous Dyson is that you don't have to keep the button pressed while operating it. I have the car accessories for the Gtech, which are useful indoors too.

Has anyone bought a Homepro hand held vacuum cleaner? I want to keep my new car clean but it only seems to be available direct from Homepro and I don't know where they are. I like to know where my money is going. It has good reviews.

Does anyone happen to know of a corded handheld that can also be cordless ?
Even the very best (from what I’ve gleaned) of the cordless, only give a few minutes of good use and require hours of charging. Imo that is not much use if you’re wanting to “do” all the ceilings for a really thorough -up-the-ladder spring clean 🧼
