@TheTweetOfGod: THE NEW 10 COMMANDMENTS

1 Laugh.
2 Read.
3 Say please.
4 Floss.
5 Doubt.
6 Exercise.
7 Learn.
8 Don't hate.

Appreciate what you have, don't covert what you haven't got.

Anne58 Sun 20-Apr-14 14:36:15

Understand that sometimes you have to actively go out and get it, it is not yours by right, and will not always just come to you.

jinglbellsfrocks Sun 20-Apr-14 16:59:50

Don't pig out on chocolate just because you can.

1. Live for today.
2. Don't create trouble where none was intended.
3. Find humour where you can.
4. Look after your family well.
5. Remember a smile is a frown, just turn it upside down.
6. Be polite.
7. Enjoy the free things in life, such as nature.
8. Be a good friend and you will have them too.
9. Always wear comfy knickers.
10. Tell loved ones you love them and give big hugs.

Take responsibility for your own actions and remember every action has a consequence.

If you wouldn't like it said to you, then don't say it to others.

liminetta Tue 22-Apr-14 08:46:24

Same, jinglebellfrocks; I am going to see my stroppy 14 year old GD.,
I have developed a strange habit these days.I post jokes and daft sayings on their fridge, and on mine , too.Now , I spy them searching them out, and, according to the reaction, (usually a sardonic smile) That makes ME smile, too. They,(two GD,s) think Ime a bit strange, but my behaviour does create some humour! I will post no.9 and 10 this morning.Thanks.smile

jinglbellsfrocks Tue 22-Apr-14 09:30:53

liminetta grin

Trouble is, my stroppy GS is eight! Heaven help us when puberty strikes. His 12 year old brother is fine though. And he laughs at his brother's grumpiness too! grin)

jinglbellsfrocks Tue 22-Apr-14 09:31:42

I reckon they secretly think you are "cool". grin
