To be held at Tintagel on Monday starting at 20.00 hours!
All welcome.
Free parking for broomsticks, chariots, magic carpets etc.
Appropriate costumes must be worn.

Will need to give the broomstick an MOT. I
think it will need oiling and the 'go faster' stripes repainting

loopylou Sat 02-May-15 11:48:06

Broomstick dusted off and headlights tested, serving wench costume ready and several large joints of meat ready for the spit.
Can't find my pewter tankard, think it's in the garret somewhere but generally ready for the off!
Wolfhound on standby to gobble up bits anyone drops grin
How exciting!

boheminan Sat 02-May-15 12:00:15

Only a few miles from my birth place so I will certainly be attending, I shall bring a slate alter for the sacrifice.

I am coming as Guinevere - obviously!

Pomp I need a Lancelot

ninathenana Sat 02-May-15 14:07:38

biker 40 yrs ago I could have brought my own but he's more of a Merlin look a like these days grin

bikergran Sat 02-May-15 14:20:48

lol ninathenan shock

ninathenana Sat 02-May-15 14:22:13

Just had a thought....

I wonder if my Merlin look a like can conjure up a transportation spell for me. It might impress those Knights if I appear in a puff of smoke !

Wheniwasyourage Sat 02-May-15 14:22:53

That's funny, nina, I have a Merlin as well. Maybe we should bring as many as we can and have a who-looks-most-like-him competition.

Who or what should we bring for a sacrifice, whitewave?

whitewave Sat 02-May-15 14:25:07

Well I wondering about a virgin but they will possibly be a bit thin on the ground so I am open to suggestions really.

loopylou Sat 02-May-15 14:31:29

grin
Anyone got a cat basket going free for the bats in my attic? I'm sure they'd love a fresh habitat (I know I won't miss them hmm)

Any chance of Kevin Costner coming as Robin Hood (yes, I know wrong era)

[swoons]

Galen Sat 02-May-15 14:31:35

The cat/dog?
Don't think we've had a sacrifice before? Might upset some of the Grans!
They'll be worrying about how to get rid of the blood!

loopylou Sat 02-May-15 14:34:52

RSPCA might not like it either hmm
Bit messy me thinks.

Could have toasts in Bulls Blood wine instead?

whitewave Sat 02-May-15 14:36:05

How about a few pound of mussels for sacrifice? I could pop down to the beach and collect them, and of course there is the added bonus of no blood but please don't bring any garlic anyone you know what that might do! Just some butter.

whitewave Sat 02-May-15 14:40:47

Actually I might abandon my broomstick to get to the party and arrive by surf board.

Galen Sat 02-May-15 14:51:01

Novel!smile

whitewave Sat 02-May-15 14:55:45

Yes and I will wear a rather fetching little number called a wet suit - do you remember "ghost busters" and the big monster at the end? well!!!! that is me in my wet suit.
