Actually think I'd better leave GN for another time. I'm in a really bad mood over something that happened earlier so not really safe to post

I also am in a very bad place and really feel that RL for some of us is so awful that the trivial posts that show up sometimes make some of us despair of common sense and decency. I hope I am not being harsh and unfair if my own feelings mean I don't always understand others.

I hadnt realised that gransnet has to be of a certain standard though. Who knew? Oh well.

It doesn't of course but just now and then some of us are so down that we react to what,at the time, we just see as frivolous and we are wrong.

Sometimes I find the "trivial" threads just what I want to read, even if I don't post, particularly when the "serious " ones are starting to get political and nasty.
