I've scanned the threads and I can't see anything on this but perhaps if I'm wrong this will be filed with it?? I'm very worried because my 6 year old grandson has started to get three warts on and around his lips and mouth. He has had several on one of his hands for almost a year and his Mum didn't do anything (which I think was sensible)because that's the general advice. In taking him to the GP to see if these little things starting on his face were warts, which the GP confirmed, all he could suggest was putting the cream for getting rid of them on the ones on his hands in the hope that this might also help his body to fight the virus and get rid of the ones on his face as well. He didn't seem too hopeful. I am horrified and the thought of a rather shy 6 year old having to endure going around with warts on his face - they are still small but they are growing. Has anyone had experience with facial warts being successfully treated in children?
