Marks bras

Does anyone else buy Marks and Spencer bras with the non-slip straps? I've been buying them for years as they are so comfortable and I always have problems with bra straps slipping but never with these. Today I've gone to the site to possibly order some and although they still have the bra in the description now it doesn't mention the non-slip straps anymore.
Does anyone know if they still incorporate the non-slip or have they done away with it now? I will get to a shop later in the week to take a look but just thought someone might know and then I could just continue with my order online. I'll be so disappointed if they have stopped doing them.

Do you do your straps up tight enough? Or have you got very narrow shoulders? Or are they very sloping? I'm just trying to work it out, I know some people have the problem but have never had it myself.

Big bust and sloping shoulders janerowena , I've always had the problem but this bra was just perfect , I wasn't forever hiking up my straps grin

There used to be something that people hooked across their backs to hold the straps up, but as I never needed one I don't know what it was called. It's probably a bit of a palaver, too.

My recently purchased M&S bra didn't have that non slip strip down the straps. I miss it. It was so simple and a straightforward method of solving a common problem. Och!

I always buy M & S bras mostly Autograph and have never found slipping a problem.

Thanks for all the links and advice I think its a problem of larger busted woman but I will wait to order till I've checked in Marks later in the week.

I agree tanith, I have the same problem.

I have the same problem of slipping straps. Getting fitted at Bravissimo sorted it, and my size.
I tried the across the back thingys and it was too fiddly to get it on and off.

Mine slip, I have a very wide back and hardly anything in front, so it's not just large busted women

Coolgran - I discovered Bravissimo too. I discovered I was wearing completely the wrong size and being fitted by them actually changed the way my clothes look on me.

Where can you get fitted by Bravissimo?

KatyK Wed 22-Apr-15 19:02:46

They have stores dotted around the UK Nottoo. You can check on their website if there is one near to you. We are in Birmingham and our nearest one is in Solihull.

Bravisimmo on line is very helpful in sorting size or you can ring an assistant to discuss fitting. However, it's best to go to a store because different styles fit differently and not all bras of one size will fit the same, just like any store. They have their own make and also do the other main brands.

My nearest stores are over 50 miles away sad, but good excuse for a jolly!

I have real problems in buying a comfy bra. However having tried on lots of bras in different stores I have at last found in Marks a comfy, soft, reasonable looking bra designed for women after mastectomies.

VAT is not charged on these bras. When they told me it would be £3 cheaper than on the tag I fessed up I had only bought it for its softness. They still said I could have it for £15 instead of £18 so I have bought a second one.
