I have just bought euros for my trip to Europe on Tuesday off a man selling out of the back of a van at local boot fair. He was offering 7€ more per pound than Tesco next door. With the pound expecting to fall further he was doing good business. Whatever next, scary times ahead.

Bloody hell I hope you didn't buy them!

Yes I gladly bought them. The ink was dry, they looked OK. The bloke in front of me was ordering £2,000.00 worth off him.

Oops don't mean €7 euros more per pound meant 7cents, mad moment.

POGS Sun 26-Jun-16 13:59:14

7 cents, that wouldn't even buy you a dogs dinner. wink

Could just be a canny gambler who saw the way the wind was blowing and bought at the right time, hoping to make a quick profit, which he apparently is doing!
