Author Richard Curtis is the award-winning and international film director and scriptwriter of films such as Four Weddings and a Funeral, Love Actually, Notting Hill and Bridget Jones' Diary. He brings his signature heartwarming and humorous style to The Empty Stocking with illustrator Rebecca Cobb.

Rebecca has worked with Orange Prize-winner Helen Dunmore on two picture storybooks and also created two solo picture books – the Greenaway nominated Missing Mummy and the delicious Lunctime. She recently collaborated with Gruffalo author Julia Donaldson on a new picture book entitled The Paper Dolls.
