Biker yes fully recovered thanks, my SiL who is a beauty therapist recommended Bio-oil for the scar and it's now visible only to me! The hurt to my self-esteem is perhaps taking rather longer to heal
The worst of it was that the experience was a Christmas gift from DD1 and son-in-law so they felt really guilty

Elethan yes you are correct...cant rem his name but yes he went over a cliff edge...how sad is that and uncanny.

If I remember correctly, the chap that invented the Segway, went over a cliff on his - does anyone recall this?

I had a great time and really enjoyed it, until the last 5 minutes of our hour, when I became over-confident, went up a steep slope and the segway fell back on top of me, causing a deep 2 inch cut just above my right eye which necessitated being rescued by a gorgeous ambulanceman called Steve who calmed me down (I was hysterical with blood pouring all down my face), cleaned me up and stuck my face back together with steristrips and took me to A&E at Newcastle's RVI.
