I have noticed recently (although it has probably been happening for a while) certain posters who vehemently condemn a post or poster then their so called followers join in the tirade as well.

It seems to me like childhood bullying, sad really in my opinion.

I have noticed a few names missing who used to post quite frequently.

Ana, What an exciting life you lead.

I found the birthday cake by searching for a thread about GN's anniversary, then copied and pasted the cake into a new post.

When you preview the post, the 'code' is shown (in this case, 'birthday3) in the Message box and the cake is shown in the Preview box.

I was just thinking how much more entertaining this is than a fight about possible bullying, Janer

Soutra - I don't know how ana arrived at the birthday cake, but how I did it was to highlight hers, then do a right-click on it with my mouse and choose "view selection source". This showed the source code for the highlighted bit, and I could see where it says "alt ='whatever' "

Whatever is the reference that GN has for that emoticon, and is what it is stored under. If it can't find it, it just shows the reference. It only works with ones that GN has stored somewhere.

The same thing is happening when you see a blank space on any webpage where a picture ought to be, with a few words tantalisingly in the middle of it, like "the best view in the world". It means that the photo is unavailable.

I'm beginning to think that too!

Now all of you look at the title of the thread. I am observing your behaviour online and finding it hilarious!
