Mixed messages

Over the last week I have been in bed with a really nasty stomach bug given to me by my youngest GS.

After 6 days of only improving marginally I thought I had better get checked out by a doctor and decided to use their online facility called 'Ask the Doctor'. I duly typed up a brief over view of the symptoms and my regime to get back on track and asked if there was anything I could do to increase the speed of my improvement.

At this point I should add that on the initial online form it said not to use this method of contact for emergencies, which is fair enough.

I got an email this morning saying they would get back to me in two days. However the last line of the email made me both laugh and throw up my arms in despair.

It said 'Do not contact us if you are unwell'

Got a phone call from Doctor this morning, but I didn't dare ask if I had broken any protocol.
