OK I am well aware of the date, but this is a gross libel:-)
I was a Viking/Saxon Living historian for a quarter of a century, spending most of that time teaching authenticity and facts.
It isn't the horns that really annoy me, it is this bit ". Think knotted, unkept hair and makeshift leather hair accessories."
Everyone had a fine-tooth comb at that time (think lice), and the vikings were known for bathing and washing every week. This gave them a distinct advantage with Saxon girls, whose menfolk were not so fastidious.

I thought it said, 'Drop the tweezers and put down the VET'

Actually, after our last bill that might not be a bad idea!

I had no idea what you were talking about to start yggdrasil until I clicked on your link. I never come in via the homepage. I'mean reading a very large, but entertaining, history of England at the moment and apparently before 1066 the English were looked on as the most well-cared for and elegant people in Europe.
