It's also sad in a way that Falconbirds' family don't know how much many Gransnetters thought of her, and how supportive she was to some of you over the years. I understand of course they mustn't be told, because her posts here were private as she wanted.
It's just that at my Dads funeral, I was proud, surprised and amazed by the stories I heard from lots of people about how he had touched their lives. Some people I hadn't met. You often only see your family from your perspective. It's a shame it usually takes a funeral to see the wider person.
