We have a government and all of the mps of all parties are probably getting on with more important work than they do when they are sitting in the House jeering at one another. Let's hope they are busy getting 'their ducks in a row', as they say, re Brexit.

So no, I probably don't think it is disgraceful, but do hope something gets sorted out before too long before the electorate becomes uneasy.

We manage well enough during the long summer recess, some might argue, better.
So no. I do not think it is disgraceful. Regrettable, but not disgraceful. We do have a government.

Thanks mcem for taking it seriously - a government without a parliament seems to me a pretty unacceptable form of democracy

And if the petition urging no agreement with DUP reaches a million signatures can a parliamentary debate be demanded with no government?
With or without that debate can the DUP agreement be stalled? Will TM do a u-turn and ditch this ridiculous and unacceptable deal?

How much vital business is on hold?

How long will the EU be prepared to wait for negotiations to start? We're told the door is still open as negotiations haven't started.
Theoretically TM can call it quits and go back to square one

Rewind a full year?

Utter farce!

No but seriously ...

Honestly? We're better off without these eegits...they cause more pain and suffering than they ever cure.

True - maybe not whilst supposed to be negotiating Brexit

Belgium managed for months without a parliament smile

We still don't know when the QS will be - that can't be agreed until the agreement with the DUP is sorted out - TM and her MPs can not being held to account by Parliament at the moment - whither democracy? I have this dream of Her Maj calling her to Buck House and giving her 24 hours to get an agreement or she'll send for Jeremy
