Deal if TM Resigns?? How does this suddenly make it acceptable to MPs

They're frightened of losing their jobs.
I think the deal can be brought back as it now has an added condition (extension agreed by the EU.)

Yes - I was equally puzzled - either they think the deal is good or they don't. Anyway, Bercow has said that deal cannot be brought back to the house.

What choice is there? The EU is not prepared to bargain any longer.

Not sure why Boris et al would suddenly vote for it when they said it was the worse deal in history and we would be a vassal state, worse than remaining etc, I suspect the volte face is so they can get their grubby hands on the tortuous real negotiations.

She could please no one. Remainer MPs have forced the UK into a corner - one in which we have little choice. We accept a bad deal (a good one for the EU) or we have nothing - as NO DEAL was also voted off the table by our stupid MPs.

Without that bargaining chip we have had to take what we have been given or stay in the EU for an even longer period of time.

What choice do we have?

I'm a bit surprised at May's announcement at this stage, just when it looks like the ERG have realised that it's May's deal or no Brexit.

But if the deal she negotiated was not a bad one, why do they want someone else to take over?

Because of course, they have now realised that May’s deal with the EU isn’t a bad one ( it never was) and they like all the other alternatives even less.Plus they want somebody else to take over for the next round of negotiations after we formally leave the EU.

I don't understand either, how does the deal become any better if she resigns. Either it is a good deal or it isn't.

Sorry Bridgeit, I'm with you - I don't understand. I suspected she was going to offer to resign when Reece Mogg said he was changing his mind and would vote for her deal.
What changed?
I wonder if Mr Bercow will object if the deal remains the same?
I'll bet you the awful Sir Christopher Chope won't be shouting OBJECT like he did when it was FGM under discussion.
