I sincerely apologise for putting words into my DGC’s mouths. The word “probably” should have been inserted at some point .

In reality I sincerely hope they don’t listen to, or watch a single word that comes from her mouth .

My DGC are normal ( dare I say happy) children living normal lives . They are all very environmentally aware but why should their childhood be blighted by the scaremongering of this grim reaper girl?

The end of the world is nigh .... it’s horrible.

Gillybob is there an official sliding scale of ‘weirdness’ or a weirdness test that you could upload so that ‘others’ judgement could show some accuracy .
Caring about the planet isn’t weird, it is necessary don’t shoot the messenger , listen to the message. Perhaps your family would enjoy getting involved & doing their bit if they understood more about the topic

Well I’m going out to look for a big stick to lash myself with . My “language” is clearly unforgivable . I do hope some of you can get over it and it hasn’t ruined your day or even lives .

One thing I don’t worry about is that my DGC are normal happy children who live their lives caring about others without trying to scare other children half to death as miss T seems to enjoy doing .

I think the days of "normal and happy" time might be over.

I won't lie to my DGC but I am not going to say it's all good either.
I tend to go with the line that "it's important we make changes"

You are judging your Grandchildren Gilly, as you have every right to do. but I am sure you wouldn’t want others to call them ‘ weirdos ‘ and if they did I am also pretty sure you would have something to say about.

Like many who have commented - I don't doubt she is sincere in her beliefs but I am also concerned for her. Yes, the message is important but who are the people behind her, pushing her forward.

I understand a psychologist who has watched her has said he thinks she is in need of help and therapy - are her parents helping get that help? Is the message, which is already being spread by many others, more important that a young girls mental health.

I wonder if GT will reply to Prince Harry who is still making hypocritical comments while praising hers.
