...with a couple of old blokes also waiting for the bus and a man in a car called from his open car window, "that would make a lovely photo", would you have a. Smiled and laughed along with him, or b. Flipped him the bird for being so bloody patronising and ageist?

Yep! Definitely Fennel.

Gonegirl - " A rose among the thorns" [wink} ?

I don't care what everybody else thinks Baggs. I have a mind of my own and don't need everybody's approval. It's what I think.

How can I have missed this thread?
I'm an expert at sitting at bus stops in the pouring rain. I do it nearly every day.
@ Gonegirl - another answer - "go on then, and send me a print".
I've got a group of regular bus stop friends, m&f, old and young, we chat while waiting.
On a very wet windy day last week we were all sitting shivering. A younger woman got up and raised her umbrella to shelter us oldies.
From her conversations on her phone I think she's from Poland.

Still alive and kicking Baggs albeit with a little less in my energy tank? Nice to ‘bump’ into you again.

Baggs Tue 26-Nov-19 15:00:18

I'm so glad you told me you were Agus, KapitalKalu. I've been wondering what happened to Agus.

Kalu Tue 26-Nov-19 14:50:40

OK goneGirl ?

Gonegirl Tue 26-Nov-19 14:41:57

Will look out for you on other threads KKKKKalu. smile

Gonegirl Tue 26-Nov-19 14:40:35

What?!!!! Are you just moaning cos I didn't give you a capital Letter?! hmm

Gonegirl Tue 26-Nov-19 14:39:23

Oh, that old thread about that grandma drumming up votes for Susannah Reid on Strictly! That was before I had my little break.

Kalu Tue 26-Nov-19 14:39:21

KKKK Kalu. Sheesh!?

Kalu Tue 26-Nov-19 14:35:33

Baggs, you ‘met’ me years ago?

I was Agus in a previous life but had to change my username due to many referring to me as Angus?

Gonegirl Tue 26-Nov-19 14:34:05

And the fingers were flashed.

Gonegirl Tue 26-Nov-19 14:33:52

Same here trisher.

Gonegirl Tue 26-Nov-19 14:33:30

shock

What did I get wrong? I said Kalu. confused

Kalu Tue 26-Nov-19 14:30:43

Oh, FGS, get my name right gg

You know what it’s like on here with the grammar police?

trisher Tue 26-Nov-19 14:30:35

Gonegirl I'd have flashed the fingers at him, but then I never did appreciate gobby men and I don't like the rain.

Baggs Tue 26-Nov-19 14:28:59

Thanks, kalu and nice to 'meet' you!

I agree that gg's a cheeky besom. That's why we love her.

Gonegirl Tue 26-Nov-19 14:28:34

grin (to kalu)

Baggs Tue 26-Nov-19 14:25:40

Oh. Perhaps it was what I said about offensiveness that was regarded as (trying to be) superior. Nope. It's just what I think. It's not superior to express an actual opinion. Take it or leave, eloethan, as, it appears, everyone else has.

I can probably count on the fingers of one hand how many times I've felt offended in my life. I've felt angry or annoyed numerous times. I think a lot of people use "offended" where I would use "annoyed". Offence eats away at a person; anger or annoyance are much easier to deal with. In my opinion.

I do like how Gransnet gives one the chance to spell out stuff for oneself that mightn't have got spelled out otherwise ?

Kalu Tue 26-Nov-19 14:25:02

I’m Scottish yes, not actually little, you cheeky besom?

Kalu Tue 26-Nov-19 14:21:19

I think the driver fancied you gg?

Gonegirl Tue 26-Nov-19 14:19:00

Says her little Scottish chum.

Kalu Tue 26-Nov-19 14:15:10

Hey ho Baggs...You will never please everybody or be ‘superior’ enough to discover an insight into their thought process.

Some puzzles are not worth the bother as you may find upon unravelling ?‍♀️

Keep posting and lang may yer lum reek?

Gonegirl Tue 26-Nov-19 14:13:26

I swear to you there was nothing cute about me and those old blokes.
