Oh lucky old you Monica! Not that I care about pubic hair. Less to get dry in the mornings after my bath.

I've only just seen a pic of the proposed garden with a wall sculpture of wavy labia, and at the vaginal orifice an angry rabbit is peering out - or am I misinterpreting it?

I'm not a fan of using euphemisms for genitals either, but surely "lady gardens" are a thing of the past as most young women spend a fortune getting body hair ripped off removed.

Never used twee words for talking about my genital area, nor did I teach my children any.

The phrase 'Lady Garden' is a phrase I heard for the first time only a year or two ago on GN.

If it means pubic hair why not say so. Mine seems to be as lush as it has always been.

I do hope that the exhibit will include examples of Clitoria ternatea, named for its likeness to that part of the anatomy!

I think in this case its used in an ironic way, precisely because twee words are used to describe "down there" (said in a whisper)

Well, that's what I always thought when I saw it referred to on Mumsnet.

I think it refers more to the part that we don't have so much of as we get older, rather than the internals. IYSWIM!

What a ridiculous euphonysm 'Lady Garden' is, nauseously coy. Why not call body parts by their names? - genitals, pr puddenda if you prefer, then use the ordinary words labia, vagina etc.

I have yet to hear coy, avoiding terms for the liver, kidneys, pancreas etc.

IMO distasteful and I do not understand the mentality of anyone doing this. It is a publicity stunt, done for no other reason.
