I love a bit of eminem.

I quite like Eminem as well. Or Marshall Mathers III if we're in polite society

I had a punt on Trump so I think I'll do the same with Kanye.
Anythings possible ?

When my son was mid teens he was a huge fan of Marshall Mathers and Dr Dre, somehow he'd always con my husband into putting one of their cds on in the car if he was with us, after ten minutes of effing and jeffing, my husband would say "right that's enough of that" and hastily replace it with something like Bach thus restoring his inner calm.

My girl used to play an eminem album that always seemed to play a tune that said "My mum, my mum!" and some pretty graphic lyrics, just as we pulled into sainsburys car park.

I quite liked Eminem/Marshall Mathers stuff particularly "Stan" thought that was quite beautiful in spite of the profanities.

He's a great lyricist. (Unlike West)

I don't think you can compare the two.

At least Ronald, if not the greatest president of all time, helped to bring us Glasnost and did (eventually) sign the Montreal Protocol.

How will Trump go down in history? Perhaps a better comparison.

As I read somewhere else on line, if Kanye becomes POTUS, we will have a FLOTUS of whom we have seen every body part, other than kidneys.

He's nuts. But then Reagan and possibly Trump both had alzheimers.

Perhaps we should look on the bright side - the American public will realise how ridiculous that would be and decide it is time to elect an intelligent, stable candidate (although who that could be I have no idea!)

He surely can't be any worse than the one they currently have !
Some of the things that Trump has been spouting over the last few weeks have been pretty scary at times and other times laughable. He seems to be wearing blinkers as far as Covid is concerned.

Understanding Trump's witterings is difficult enough but a rapper? Putin will be laughing his socks off!

Lyrics are often peppered with the N word whereas any white person uttering it could trigger riots. I have no desire to use any language that's offensive to people of colour but where's the clarification?

We used to say the UK and the USA were divided by a common language. We'll be learning a foreign one if KW becomes POTUS

I’m concerned that he will take votes away from Biden, not Trump as republicans that don’t want to vote for Trump may vote for him. The only good thing to have happened in recent years will be if Trump loses the election even though I still can’t understand why Biden is the best the Democrats can come up with.
